Kahrun's Won't
icon Quest
Type: Campaign
Category: Katalam
Lv.: 60
Asmodian Only

Description:
Talk with Arfast. Talk with Apolis. Take Ellotum's Belt to Gurd. PlayerVisit Nania's Pavillion. Talk with Nania. Talk with Leytee. Help the Reians.
Summary:
Arfast wanted you to go help the Reians. You went. Apolis, the Reian in particular, asked you to help him with his Dragonbound troubles.

You killed Ellotum and took her belt to Reian Elder Gurd. (Apolis hoped this would make Gurd feel guilty about not sending him the kind of help he clearly needed.)

Gurd recognized you as "that dead Asmodian from that one battle three months ago" and was suprised to learn that you were neither dead nor incompetent. Armed with this new knowledge, and knowing that you were a free agent, he told you a great secret.

Kahrun is missing!

Gurd asked you to help find him, so you spoke with Nania. She was the last person to see him. When you offered your searching services, she sent you to Leytee in the Relics of Sorrow.

Leytee was a fellow Asmodian who let you know that half the purpose in search for Kahrun is looking over the local ruins without any Reians looking at you funny.

Full quest's text:
A Reian calling himself Apolis needs help. Take care of it.

We got to keep the Reians dark and cool.

Player: "I'll get on his good side."

I don't suppose you're here to help me with the statue repairs?

Player: "Arfast said you needed something?"

Really? He sent you to me?

He's a little rough, but a steady and dependable Daeva in the end.

Player: "I just met him, so..."

And he knew I could use the help of a strong [%userclass]. Thought of me the moment he met you.

Because I need someone to kill Ellotum. I keep asking Elder Gurd for help, but he never sends anyone.

You know what? If you deal with that Dragonbound ringleader, make her feel inadequate in comparison with our Asmodian brethren. Gurd won't meet with just anyone. Get Ellotum's Belt to prove your worth.

Player: "She'll feel inadequate, all right."

You look familiar. Didn't you get killed at Danuar Spire?

Player: "I got better."

And brought a gift from Apolis, I see. I never thought someone who fell in their first battle... Well, you must have had an off day.

I suppose you're strong enough.... and Vard and Remao don't know you're here.

Player: "Nope. I talked to Bilveo, then Arfast, then..."

Unofficially, then, I have information for you.

Kahrun is missing. Hence the failing of Kahrun's Will.

Player: "I--you--Kahrun--whoa."

Without Kahrun, we are lost. Find out what Nania knows.

Player: "Nania?"

Did you? You really fought with Tiamat instead of squabbling with the Elyos?

...Sorry. You don't deserve my scorn. I was just talking with that Elyos warrior, and he put me on edge.

Player: "The Elyos can be like that."

I saw Kahrun three months ago.

We had just arrived and started setting up this camp. But he wasn't unpacking. He just headed south with his guards.

Player: "His guards were with him?"

Yes, which is why I didn't think anything of it until later when his Will dispersed and no one could find him.

Player: "I'll help you find him."

Thank you for offering. You should meet Leytee at the Relics of Sorow. He can be trusted to help.

Player: "On my way."

The best part about helping the Reians, is that we have a chance to search the Relics of Sorrow. We get our foothold, and they don't see anything suspicious.
