But I must warn you, Daeva--this next piece of your armor is not to be taken lightly.

Player: "What do you mean?"

Daeva, I don't know if anyone's ever told you this, so please forgive me if I am the messenger. I think your head may be slightly too large for your body.

Thankfully, I have the perfect remedy. With my Daevanion pauldron design, you will both honor Lord Kaisinel and command the respect you deserve. I'll need a few materials, however.

Quickly, bring me the Kaisinel's Pattern of Devotion, the Elian's Dew, the Spring Agrint Leaf, and the Winter Agrint Leaf.

Player: "Thank you."

Daeva, I have drawn up the designs! I am ready to begin your Daevanion pauldrons.

Did you bring the Kaisinel's Pattern of Devotion, the Elian's Dew, the Spring Agrint Leaf, and the Winter Agrint Leaf?

Player: "Yes, here you go."

Excellent question. You must give a prayer of devotion to the Empyrean Lord with a pure heart and a clear mind. Then, you shall receive Kaisinel's Pattern of Devotion.

Player: "Thank you."

Elian's Dew? That won't be easy. You may find it around Elian, Heiron, and Inggison.

Your essence extraction level must be at least 400. Remember to bring an Altare Glass Bottle.

Player: "Thank you."

You can get the Spring Agrint Leaf and the Winter Agrint Leaf from Sun Agrints and Night Agrints.

You'll find both in Elian, but Sun Agrints only appear during the day. Night Agrints only appear at night.

Player: "Interesting."

Daeva, you look like you've had quite the adventure! Have you brought me all the materials?

The fair Kaisinel's Pattern of Devotion, the pure Elian's Dew, and the dangerously beautiful Agrint Leaves... I think we're ready!

Player: "Oh, good."

You seem... different, Player. I can tell that you've labored long to bring me these materials. I hope you've found wisdom on your journey.

Your trial is over. Now, mine is about to begin. Stand back and watch a true craftsman at work.

Player: "Very well."

(Epaion quickly hammers and engraves Kaisinel's Pattern of Devotion on the Daevanion pauldrons.)

(A silvery light glows. For a moment, Epaion seems to disappear into the light. With a flash, the light fades. Epaion droops with exhaustion.)

Player: "Thank you."

That was more difficult than I remember--Elian's Dew can be very capricious, after all. Take these pauldrons from me. They're yours.

You know what to do. Go to Rike for the Daevanion ritual. Sun's blessings.

Player: "Sun's blessings."

(Rike closes her eyes and chants an ancient spell. You feel the ground quake slightly under your feet.)

(With a flare of heat, glowing tendrils of light reach outward from your body to form a mass of energy in front of Rike's hands.)

(When Rike raises her hands, the mass of energy floats up and is absorbed by the Daevanion pauldrons. They gracefully fall into your outstretched hands.)
