Daeva Player, there is something I must tell you.

I hear that at the end of the fortress battle, you came into possession of the Kysis Spirit's Soulstone and the Kysis Spirit Pendant.

According to my research, those items are associated with an Enraged Guardian that protects Kysis Fortress. The thing is... no one has heard or seen anything of them in a very long time.

Player: "Oh?"

After we captured the fortress, we discovered Kysis' Crystal Sword, engraved with strange patterns, out in front of the fortress. I thought the patterns looked familiar, and I was right--they were the same as the ones on the Kysis Spirit's Soulstone.

There is definitely a connection between Kysis' Crystal Sword and the pendant. If you take the pendant over to the sword and check, we might be able to learn something about the Enraged Guardian.

You're the only one who has both the Kysis Spirit's Soulstone and the Kysis Spirit Pendant, Player. Take the Kysis Spirit's Soulstone and use it on the Kysis Crystal Sword to find out if it has something to do with the Enraged Guardian.

That was amazing, Player! The Enraged Guardian appeared out of nowhere, but you were completely unfazed!

An Enraged Guardian is supposed to guard the fortress, but it hadn't appeared until now. Maybe it was summoned by someone... And that could be related to the necklace and pendant being found in the first place.

But who would have the power to summon and manipulate a spirit that powerful...? We are dealing with a formidable foe, it would seem.

Player: "So it would seem."

It couldn't actually have been Ereshkigal, could it? I'll need to do more research on the being that left Kysis' Crystal Sword there.

Thanks to you, Player, we were able to defeat the Enraged Guardian and occupy the fortress.
