For me the understanding came too late.... A long time ago, I lost a friend here. I thought the pain would subside as time goes by, but I actually feel it more and more. When I first arrived here, there was no Obelisk. All Guardians coming to the Abyss had to make a pledge regarding Vanishment. We thought it was silly--we even joked about it.
