To her great shame, Ereshkigal was imprisoned in Makarna long ago by the Dragon Lord Fregion.

After her release from Makarna, she awakened in the Core of Reshanta. Then a long time passed until she appeared in Lakrum. But the memory of her shame still doesn't seem to be dulled.

Ereshkigal has once again raised up the place of her humiliation in Lakrum.
Nobody knows why she has done this.

I'm guessing she wants to use this to indulge her lust for revenge against Fregion, Beritra, and the Asmodians who conquered Makarna.

Makarna of Bitterness is a sort of memory in which Ereshkigal invests all her wrath, hate and resentment.
Our mission is to go to Makarna of Bitterness through the Rift, find out what Ereshkigal is up to and to find her weakness.

Even if this place only reflects a memory, the monsters and Balaur there are still very strong. So you can't afford to be careless.

Take your comrades with you and travel to Makarna of Bitterness. Start the investigation there. Our patrol will go with you.
Well, so far all we know is that Ereshkigal was defeated by Fregion back then and betrayed by Beritra, whereby he stole much of her power.
