But--beat me with Nezekan's shield--one shouldn't risk or burden others for one's passion! It's just irresponsible! Kalione! She comes to Heiron saying, "Only by being there can I truly learn," then spends most of her day with her nose in a book anyway. I don't understand why she had to come all the way out here and make my life miserable. The duty of a real Guardian is to protect residents from danger, not to babysit a scholar. I wouldn't complain if I was doing something important, like guarding against Lepharists attacks. | |
