I'd like to use the database to pull specific lists of ID's based on search filters. I noticed in this thread you linked directly to a query.php file: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=4
The results from that page are somewhat usable, but it would be easier if they were presented in json or csv format. What are the options for that query.php file, is there a limit to the results(1000 like the site?) and is pagination supported?
Is there a better way to go about this?

Sorry, but there is no other way. It was not developed as something like open API. There are no other options.
