But we're not exactly taking a holiday. We're guarding the village in case Mosbears attack.

The children are having nightmares about Mosbears, but in a strange way, I feel good about the situation.

To be honest, I hate hunting. I have no idea how I ended up a hunter.

I hate the gory parts: beasts bleeding to death, then the gutting and skinning.

But I have to admit: There's nothing like a hunt to sharpen your instincts.
