Dialogs: A field or barrier is something that defines a certain space. You could say it has the power to separate this space from the external. That means the field can stop others or groups of enemies from entering inside and also restricts those inside from leaving the space. The very first field in the entire world was the Aetheric Field of Aion. It was erected so that he could protect Atreia and the humans within from the arrogant and despicable Balaur. Back then, he used a great number of pure Aether crystals for the field. The same material that also makes up the Tower of Eternity. If we were to speculate that Aether was the source of the creator Aion's miracle, then we could say that the source of the Aetheric Field is one and the same as his own power. The second Aetheric Field that appeared in Atreia was the one that was made by the sacrifices of Lady Siel and Lord Israphel. The Protectors of the Tower, Lady Siel and Lord Israphel exhausted their life energy to protect the Tower of Eternity that was destroyed at the time of the Balaur attack. This was the beginning of the Cataclysm and through their desperate attempt to save the world, they created an Aetheric Field much like Aion's. According to eyewitness reports, time started to slow when the Aetheric Field was created, starting from the Tower of Eternity and spreading outwards. In the end, it was as if time had stopped and together with a bright light, the space within started to wane. If I were to use this to formulate a theory, then this Aetheric Field - created by Lady Siel who controls time, and Lord Israphel, who controls space - this field is made up of energy that interferes with time and space. The Aetheric Field that was created through Lady Siel's power to control time actually stopped time itself and prevented the complete destruction of the Tower of Eternity. With Lord Israphel's power to control space, the Aetheric Field locked out the space itself so that all beings inside were transported to Elysea and Asmodae. The sacrifice of the two lords created the Aetheric Field and saved ancient Atreia and the Tower of Eternity that had broken during the Cataclysm, thus protecting Atreia from total annihilation. Now it's already been 1000 years since the lords' sacrifice... We will never know exactly when the field's effect might dissipate. The past that stopped before our eyes might start to move forward in time again and the end might arrive abruptly... We need to be prepared and look towards the future.
