I believe that they took the artifact to use it to construct a new base.

On top of that, not long ago, I received a report that some civil engineers had been abducted.

Considering various circumstantial evidence, I'm certain that the Lepharists were behind that too.

Player: "I see."

They must've abducted those civil engineers to help build their base, but we're still in the dark about what they intend to do with the artifact.

So we need to rescue the abducted engineers and find out what the artifact is being used for.

I would like to entrust you with that mission.

Go to the Lepharist Bastion and rescue the Civil Engineer.

Since you've freed me from this cell, please help me out of this place too.

There are corridors that lead outside at either end of this Lepharist Bastion. The Lepharists don't know about them.

Secret Exit is near the center of the Lepharist Bastion. It's a small cave within the western cliff.

We can also escape through Forgotten Passage, which is located at the northernmost tip of the Lepharist Bastion.

I don't care which side, but please just take me to one of them so that I can get out of here.

I thought they were simply building a base for them to operate from, but it seems that's not the case.

Not that I was going to stand by and let the Lepharists finish building it.

But an artifact can have all sorts of functions and it's impossible to tell exactly how they are using the artifact.

In case something happens, blowing up the artifact may be the best course of action.

Artifacts are not ordinary substances. We'll need special explosives to destroy them.

But Aether Explosives that use Aether should be able to destroy the artifact.

Here, take this to the Kuriullu Outpost and meet with Laigas.

He has been stationed there for a long time and should know a lot about the Lepharist Bastion.

Destroy the Stolen Artifact with Laigas's help. I trust that you'll get the job done without any mishaps.
