Description:
Talk with Eulos. Learn about the Aetheric Field surrounding fortresses from Sileni. Learn about the Castle Gates and Gate Restoration Stones from Adrastea. Learn about the Guardian General from Lachesis. Learn about Artifacts from Erdias. Learn about Kisks from Jenirius. Learn about the Dredgion from Larentia. Talk with Claudia. Order: You need to receive a basic education before you can battle in the Abyss. Go to Eulos and ask about lessons.
Summary:
As battles in the Abyss differ greatly from those in Atreia, there were several things you needed to learn.

You visited several instructors to learn about fortresses and capturing a fortress, the Aetheric Field surrounding each fortress, the Castle Gates and Gate Restoration Stone, the Guardian General, the Artifacts, Kisks, and the Balaur Battleship known as the Dredgion.

When you returned to Claudia after completing all the lessons, she gave you a Kisk Stone, to help you during your travels in Reshanta.

Full quest's text:
If you're going to fight in Reshanta, there are a few things you need to know. Battles in the Abyss are vastly different from those in Atreia.

There are new strategies...and new dangers.

It's my job to make sure you understand these things so you've got a better chance of making it through your first fight.

Player: "I'm ready to learn."

First, our ability to control the Abyss depends on controlling the fortresses. Capturing them is key, so pay attention as I explain how it's done.

Player: "I'm listening."

I hope that was clear. If you think you understand that well enough, you should move on to other matters.

Go to Sileni and learn about the Aetheric Field surrounding each fortress.

Player: "I'll go at once."

I understand you're in need of some information. My area of expertise is the Aerial Aetheric Field surrounding each fortress.

Understanding the Aetheric Field will give you an edge in both attack and defense. It's absolutely essential.

Are you ready?

Player: "I'm listening."

Now you should have a better understanding of the Aetheric Field surrounding each fortress.

Next you should learn about the Castle Gates, one of the most important defenses for a fortress.

Adrastea can tell you more.

Player: "I'll speak to her presently."

Welcome, Player.

My specialty is Castle Gates and the Gate Restoration Stone.

When our fortress is under attack, you must do whatever is necessary to keep the Castle Gates intact.

Player: "Please go on."

So, do you understand about Castle Gates, Gate Restoration Stones, and Siege Weapons now?

It may seem overwhelming, but after your first few battles it'll be second nature. Follow the lead of the more experienced Daevas, and you'll be fine.

Now then, go and see Lachesis, who'll teach you about the Guardian General.

Player: "Sounds impressive."

I've been waiting for you, Player.

My job is to tell you about the Guardian General.

It's the most important, and perhaps the most difficult, aspect of capturing a fortress.

Player: "It sounds very powerful."

And frightening. Don't be ashamed of being frightened--a healthy respect for powerful obstacles is a good thing. But don't let fear cloud your judgment or deter you from bold action when necessary.

When you're defending a fortress, you must protect the Guardian General at all costs, and the converse is true when you're on the offensive.

Your next lesson is Artifacts. For that you'll go to Erdias.

Player: "Thank you for sharing your knowledge."

I hope you don't mind if I skip the pleasantries--there's really no time for such things when we're in a continuing battle for control of the Abyss.

An Artifact is a formidable weapon that can turn the tide of a battle in an instant. When one comes into play, you must act decisively.

Player: "What must I do?"

I hope you understand the critical role that Artifacts play in our strategies for capturing fortresses in the Abyss.

It may not be as difficult as capturing a fortress, but it's not easy.

Now go to Jenirius, and learn about Kisks.

Player: "I'm on my way."

Kisks play a major part in battles in Reshanta, so you better listen up if you want to know how to use one.

A Kisk functions much the same as an Obelisk....

Player: "Tell me more."

I hope you've learned an appreciation for Kisks and what they do, Player.

Deciding where to place one, and protecting it from enemy attacks, is an indispensable part of any winning strategy.

Now you have just one more lesson left. Go to Larentia and learn about the most terrifying thing in the Abyss--the Dredgion.

Player: "I'm on my way."

My lecture on the Balaur Battleship Dredgion will complete your initial Abyss training.

I'll tell you all I know of it, though I wish our knowledge was more extensive.

You'll encounter the Dredgion only in the Abyss....

Player: "Sounds powerful."

Your initial training is now complete.

Go to the supply depot and see Quartermaster Claudia.

She has something for you that you might find useful.

Player: "Thank you."

Although you've completed these lessons, there's no shame in revisiting them later if you need to.

Better to listen again than to let your ignorance endanger us all, so visit the instructors whenever you like.

And please, take this--a token for completing your education.
