The New Year Festival is my very favorite holiday!

You know about ascension Blessings, of course. Daevas give children--especially the well-behaved ones, like me--Kinah and blessings so we might ascend someday!

Player: "That sounds like fun."

Last year I received over five hundred thousand Kinah in blessing money.

It's a combination of blessing money and the blessing itself that helps us to ascend.

Are you willing to give me a blessing?

Player: Accept.

All year long, my parents tell me to study Soul Healing or Manastone Removal, but then when the Festival comes, they send me out for ascension Blessings.

Does that sound weird to you?

Anyway, how much of an ascension Blessing do you think you can give me? You know, prices have gone up quite a lot, I've heard....

Player: "How about 100 Kinah?"

I hope I become a Daeva someday--but not until I'm too old to receive ascension Blessings. They're so much fun to collect!

So will you give me a blessing?

Player: "How about 100 Kinah?"

One hundred Kinah? Well, erm...thank you. You shouldn't have. Really.

Anyway, how's this for an ascension Blessing: "May you remain Human until you can't receive blessing money anymore."

Player: "Sure, we'll go with that."
