The Ide in this area made the forest eerily beautiful, but it also mutated the local wildlife. Worst of all are the Balloon Sylphen.

Those balloons on their backs are filled with contaminants, and they spread them everywhere they go.

We're already busy suppressing the Ophidan Worshippers, but those insects need to be dealt with before this becomes an epidemic.

When I volunteered for this expedition back in Sanctum, I never imagined that a few insects could cause so much trouble.

We've held firm against the Balaur, but these creatures are giving us pause. The things that Ide can do -- I don't want to consider it.

I've even heard stories about Ide infection turning people into zombies.... I hope you were able to eradicate the Balloon Sylphens.

And to think I thought the Balaur would be our biggest problem. Instead it's these over-sized insects.

We wouldn't even be in this position if Gillus's troops were doing their jobs. I don't know how they can be so useless.

Regardless, I appreciate you doing Gillus's job for him. Perhaps he'll learn something from observing someone competent.
