Description:
Talk with Lucullus. Defeat the Hyperion Defense Officer and Hyperion Rescue Specialists. (3) Talk with Runa. Talk with Lucullus. Use the Danuar Idgel Cube. Kill the Hiding Spirits. (3) Talk with Lucullus. Use the Danuar Idgel Cube. Talk with Skuldun. Talk with Vard. Talk with Lord Marchutan. Get a working Hyperion for Lucullus.
Summary:
Lucullus sent you to the Infinity Shard. Before he joined you, though, you found Kahrun lying unconscious.

Runa appeared, followed by an Elyos who battled fiercely with her for custody of Kahrun. They ceased their violence upon realizing each other's secret identities. Runa was really Shedim Lady Triniel; and the Elyos, Empyrean Lord Nezekan.

The pair of them absconded with Kahrun, together, and THEN Lucullus showed up. He didn't have any interest in the drama you'd just witnessed, much more invested in the Hyperion.

When you activated the Hyperion with an Idgel Cube, as he instructed, Lucullus laughed and revealed his true self.

He was Beritra. Oh, deceitful Dragon Lord!

Your dearest friend in Danaria then turned his traitorous power upon you. Destiny did not intend for you to die that day, however. Marchutan's Agent, Skuldun, rescued you from certain death.

Skuldun sent you back to Danuar Spire, where you spoke with Governor Vard and then met personally with Lord Marchutan. Apparently, Lord Marchutan was behind your missing three months. He'd altered your brain to be more suggestible, but that turned out to be a pointless change since Beritra deceived everyone.

He didn't apologize, only told you it was your destiny to be so used.

Full quest's text:
The Hyperion we seek is a fully functional weapon, not a broken-down relic.

Player: "What? How did you hear about it?"

That's not important. The question you want to ask is: "O Wonderful and Wise Lucullus, wherever can I find this Preserved Hyperion, marvel of ancient weaponry?"

The reply: We're going to visit it in the Infinity Shard.

What do you think? Does it sound tempting? No matter. I'm taking you anyway.

Player: "Haha! So exciting!"

The poor child! Come, Player. Kahrun needs our help.

You can pick up your current task again later. For now, Kahrun is more important.

Player: "Right! What can I do?"

Good, good. With all those powerful beings focused on Kahrun, our path is clear.

I worried that I might have lost you.

Player: "You could never lose me."

It pleases me to hear that.

Now. Let's clear our minds of that pitiful Reian, and bring the Preserved Hyperion to life.

Wouldn't you like to do it yourself? Here, pick up the Danuar Idgel Cube.

Player: "Thank you for trusting me with this."

(Something sloshes inside. Power throbs with each movement of your hands.)

(Caution seems warranted.)

Player: "Nice and easy..."

Those poor souls. Not everyone has enough mental clarity, enough strength of purpose, to wield a Danuar Idgel Cube.

Let us grieve for the pure souls transformed into vengeful spirits.

Of course, I knew you would master the cube beautifully. You've done it so many times before.

Player: "Let me try again."

(The soul-destroying cube shifts. Mesmerizing waves of Idgel look so harmless...)

(And inviting.)

Player: "Nothing I haven't done before."

Don't look so surprised to see me. We need you alive. After the three months we invested, well...

Lord Marchutan gave me a vision. You were being torn about by a giant dragon. I should have known it was an allegory for Beritra. Marchutan's not always subtle.

When you see him, speak with Governor Vard.

Player: "Wait! Three months? Marchutan?"

In the last few hours, we have leanred the Empyrean Lady Triniel rescued Kahrun...

And that she'd seen you in the presence of Dragon Lord Beritra.

I'm relieved to see you well.

Player: "Me too! It's good to be back."

With a Hyperion coming our way and all the fates stacked against us, your return is a cool whisper of nighttime air.

Lord Marchutan would like to see you. He needs your strength--and your forgiveness--now more than ever.

Player: "Forgiveness?"

And all for nothing. Your suggestibility was an unfortunate, but necessary, casualty in the war of Balaurea.

We could not have anticipated Beritra's deceit. And now this Hyperion makes him stronger.

You know your duty. For our people. For our future!
