Have you ever encountered a ghost called Gatz the Wise?

He was a great leader in life, and a good friend. Compassionate, thoughtful, brave almost to the point of rashness....

Player: "He sounds like a fine warrior."

He was. That's why we were so stunned when he fell in battle.

There was nothing we could do for him. Our resources were strained to the breaking point.

Nothing was the same after his death. It was almost as though the entire tribe had given up hope....

Player: "He would not have wanted that."

No. But that is why we could not lift a hand against him, even when his ghost started to attack us.

We thought it was better to see him like that than not be able to see him at all. But now I see our selfishness.

For his sake, his tortured existence must end. Can you do that for him?

Player: Accept.

Gatz the Wise deserved better than what he got.

Beware--he retains much of the strength he had in life. It will not be an easy battle, but it is necessary.

Player: "I will do him honor."

While you were gone, I burnt Gatz the Wise's belongings. Perhaps he can use them, wherever he goes after...

Player: "He no longer suffers."
