Player, my troops are reporting that the Balaur at Idium Reactor Complex are horribly mutated.

They're describing them as hideous, zombie-like creatures, but that's still unconfirmed. They're all too scared to go back and check.

The only way we'll know for sure is to destroy the Unquiet Combatants and Unquiet Sorcerers.

I suspect one of the Balaur will be carrying something that will give us an idea of what happened.

Player: Accept.

I've heard horror stories from Daevas who've fought Ide-mutated creatures.

It's said they feel no pain or emotion. They're driven to fight, and nothing else.

But it looks like that didn't stop you.

Player: "I found this journal..."

A journal, eh? Well, this is certainly Balaur in origin. Fortunately, I happen to know a bit of Balaur.

(Flips over the pages and reads out loud) 'My allies hath fallen, yet they rise again. The Ide hath doomed them to walk forever.'

It just goes on from there. Whoever wrote this made some very extensive observations.

Our good luck. Knowing the enemy is half the battle, and this will give quite the edge.
