Are you aware of the Illuminary Obelisk near the Tower Mausoleum?

Initial investigations seem to show it is a facility for activating the shield that protects the Ide Field of Idian Depths.

Captain Brif was very vocal about recommending you, Player. So I'd like you to use the Illuminary Obelisk Teleport Device to get to the Illuminary Obelisk and see Kamaz. We need to stabilize the region and fend off the Pashid Legion's attacks.

The Illuminary Obelisk is a defense tower built by the ancient Danuar as a shielding device for Katalam.

Initially, the Ide refining facility at the bottom of the tower that gathered Ide energy from the surroundings to self-operate the shield.

But when Pashid's Legion attacked, parts of the device were destroyed and we had to resort to manually maintaining power.

Player: "Go on..."

Until we can repair the damaged parts the tower is under constant threat of attack. It is a delicate balance. The shield is required for the safety of Katalam, and our forces are required for the safety of the shield.

Your help is needed in defense of the tower. Push back the assaulting forces and gather Transparent Idium Pieces from Protruded Idium to charge up four Shield Generatorss.

We can only hold out so long before we are overrun. Charing those Shield Generatorss si your top priority.

Player, your mission is to maintain the generator. In the past the Pashid Legion has sent in units to exploit weaknesses when shield generators get low.

It is vital that you maintain four shield generators at all times, lest the entire tower fall under siege. Keep in mind that prior attacks have shown the Pashid Legion Unit will assault from all sides. It is reccommended that you spread your comrades out to defend all entrances.

We've entrenched a cannon here to assist in the defense, use it wisely.

Player: "They won't break through."

Never let your guard down, even if you manage to fully charge every generator.

Remember, an enemy is most dangerous when driven into a fit of desperation.
