Insert the Danuar Idgel Cube into Preserved Hyperion. Talk with Rike. Talk with Tirins. Talk with Lord Kaisinel. Activate the last Hyperion with Kaza.
Summary:
Kaza heard about a functional Hyperion. He sent you ahead to the Inifinity Shard, where you fought through the Balaur guarding it.

When you defeated the Balaur, you found Kahrun in critical condition. Thresu, Kahrun's Tail, arrived soon after, as did the Asmodian, Runa.

Thresu and Runa fought over Kahrun, but stopped when they realized each other's secret identities: Empyrean Lord Nezekan and Empyrean Lady Triniel.

The two Empyrean Lords disappeared with Kahrun, and Kaza joined you and pulled your attention back to the task at hand: activating the functional Hyperion.

You used the Idgel Cube and activated the Hyperion working, at which point Kaza revealed himself as Dragon Lord Beritra and took control of the weapon.

Thankfully, Kaisinel's Senior Agent, Pennan, rescued you and sent you back to Governor Trinis and the safety of Kaisinel's Beacon.

Trinis apologized for ever finding you creepy, and said he pitied you for being a favorite of the Empyrean Lords.

He sent you to Lord Kaisinel, who told you what happened during the three months you were in a coma after you first came to Katalam. Apparently, Pennan experimented on you with magic and mechanics until you were highly suggestible.

She'd conditioned you to agree to almost anything. On reflection, that made a lot of sense. After all, you often went from helping one person to helping someone else do the opposite. You dropped everything for Thresu whenever he appeared, and he had the clearest requests.

Kaisinel did not apologize or offer to undo these effects. Trinis was right: catching an Empyrean Lord's attention deserves pity.

Full quest's text:
The Hyperion we seek is a fully functional weapon, not a broken-down relic.

Player: "How did you learn about it?"

That's not important. The question you want to ask is: "O Wonderful and Wise Kaza, wherever can I find this Preserved Hyperion, epitome of ancient weapons?"

The answer: I'm going to take you there. To Infinity Shard.

What do you think? Does it sound tempting? No matter. I'm taking you anyway.

Player: "Haha! So exciting!"

Kahrun needs our help.

You will abandon whatever brings you here. Kahrun is more important.

Player: "Right! What can I do?"

Good, good. With all those powerful beings focused on Kahrun, our path is clear.

I worried that I might have lost you.

Player: "You could never lose me."

It pleases me to hear that.

Now. Let's clear our minds of that useless Reian, and activate the Preserved Hyperion.

Wouldn't you like to do it yourself? Here, pick up the Danuar Idgel Cube.

Player: "Thank you for trusting me with this."

(Something sloshes inside, and power throbs with each movement of your hands.)

(Caution seems warranted.)

Player: "Nice and easy..."

Those poor souls. Not everyone has enough mental clarity, enough strength of purpose, to wield a Danuar Idgel Cube.

Let us grieve for the pure souls transformed into vengeful spirits.

Of course, I knew you would master the cube beautifully. You've done it so many times before.

Player: "One more time?"

(The soul-destroying cube shifts. Mesmerizing waves of Idgel look so harmless...)

(And inviting.)

Player: "I've done this before, just fine."

My Lord Kaisinel sent me a vision: a slavering dragon stood over your shredded body.

I couldn't let Beritra end it. Not after the three months I invested in you.

I'm sending you to Kaisinel's Beacon where Governor Tirins will safeguard your life.

Player: "Wait! Explain the three months!"

I apologize for every bad thing I ever thought about you, Player. The Empyrean Lords ill-use their favorites.

You should have my pity, not my enmity.

Player: "Ugh. Let me tell you about it."

Incredible!

Lord Nezekan and Lady Triniel absconded with Kahrun? And Beritra controls the only working Hyperion?

You should probably speak with Lord Kaisinel, unless you're too angry with him?

Player: "Why should I be angry?"

For three months she slaved over magics and mechanics, forcing your mind to bend under any strongly expressed will.

She has recordings of these sessions, so she tells me.

The conditioning made you an irresistable accomplice for Dragon Lord Beritra. I'm sure you'll be just fine from now on, if a bit suggestible.
