You must have been sent by Pantager, good. I'm relieved to know that he isn't completely oblivious to the gravity of the situation at hand.

We are in a state of emergency, to say the least. I'll brief you quickly on the current situation.

We have reports of Beritra's troops flooding in from everywhere. It's on a scale that we've never seen before. Something's different.

Player: "What could be causing a higher influx of Balaur?"

From what we know, and that isn't much, Beritra's Army is using a new weapon to attack multiple regions in unison. None of this has been confirmed, so I can't give you any actual information yet.

We've deployed the military to hold back the brunt of their forces, but we have yet to discover the means of their infiltration. We need more time to carry out an assessment.

We have little to no information about specific invasion points, but Katalam certainly seems to be under the most duress. For now, the Reported Invasion Site is the only site we know of for certain, otherwise we're just reacting to reports as they arise.

Player: "The situation sounds dire."

That's an understatement. Help us with our assessment, Player. Your efforts will allow us to position our forces before Beritra's troops can touch ground.

First, go to the Reported Invasion Site and activate the Infiltration Sensor. It detects any sign of invasion and will give us a counterattacking edge.

Afterwards, go see Azuminerk. He's the Shugo who provided the latest eyewitness report of the Beritra army's invasion. If you can get any new information from our Shugo friend, repeat the same assessment in that location.
