Summary:
Tumblusen said it's important to find out what exactly the Kaidan Krall are doing in Eltnen. You did as he said and defeated the Kaidan Scout Members and obtained their plan, which was coded.

You asked Mabangtah for help in deciphering the plan. The document revealed that the Balaur were planning to invade through the Abyss Gate in Eltnen.

After disrupting the Kaidan Krall activities, you reported back to Telemachus, who expressed his concern over this emergency.

Full quest's text:
Things are looking kind of bad right now.

We picked up on some activity for a while, but now the Krall are quiet again. This usually means that whatever they have been doing has come to completion.

Player: "This usually means I get a mission."

Correct. We must investigate their stronghold as quickly as possible to find out what they're doing with the Ide.

They can only be stopped if we adequately educate ourselves to their plan.

Player: "So what's the mission?"

If you venture south of the Aetheric Field Observatory, you'll find the Kaidan Scouts. They've set camp between their base and the Aetheric Field Observatory for intelligence gathering.

Kill them and take their Balaur Marching Plans. We need to know what orders they received from the Balaur and how the Ide is involved.

Player: "This will be fun."

The Krall need to be dealt with first in order to find out what the Beritra army's after.

They will be quite knowledgeable, since they directly serve the Balaur.

Did you get their plans?

Player: "Here it is."

We really need to know their plans. There is no time to lose!

Player: "I will get that plan."

Are these Krall documents?

They appear to be written in a cryptic form of Kallic. Even I can't decipher this.

This needs to be deciphered, but I cannot let you carry it due to its sensitive nature. Memorizing it would be best. Go to Mabangtah and tell him what you've memorized.

Player: "Can I learn by osmosis?"

Player: "Will do."

I knew we meet again. Why come, white wing?

You in hurry. Something bad happened.

Player: "I memorized some code..."

It's Krallic, and coded. Tell again.

One more time, Krraark.

Player: "Here it goes..."

I get now.

Idatium? Iditan? Weapon Beritra army make.

They want to bring through gate. Abyss. Into Eltnen, see? To poison Atreia.

This bad. I send you back!

Player: "Oh, thank you."

Kaidan Krall open Abyss Gate in base. Call Balaur in.

Done. Almost. Kraaark.

This bad. I send you back!

Player: "Oh, thank you."

Did you find out what the code says? We can't act without the information contained in it.

Did you find anything out from Mabangtah?

Player: "Yes. He said..."

Are you saying that the Beritra army is trying to bring in an Ide weapon through the Abyss Gate to contaminate all of Atreia? Then everything will mutate! Atreia will be doomed! Just like Katalam.

Quickly, I need you to get to Kaidan Headquarters. Go and destroy the Kaidan Fighter and Shaman Kalabar.

Player: "What for?"

The Kaidan Fighter and Shaman Kalabar are the leaders of Kaidan Headquarters. Chaos will break out without them. That should buy us some time.

First, eliminate Kaidan Fighter. Then your next target is the Shaman Kalabar.

Player: "I like chaos."

Danger is upon us all. Hurry, and good luck to you.

Player: "You can depend on me."

Player: "Yes."

Are you saying that the Kaidan Krall are trying to open an Abyss Gate and bring in the Balaur?

We can't let that happen!

We can't let them open that gate. Please go to the Kaidan Headquarters right away.

Player: "Leave it to me."

An Ide weapon! I shudder to think of it. It's a lucky thing you were able to eliminate them so fast! Without their leader, the Krall will be a mess for a while.

But it is too early to celebrate. This was just a temporary solution, and we must still report this to General Telemachus.

Player: "I can find a permanent solution."

Player: "I will go."

I received word that you'd come. What happened?

Player: "Atreia is in danger."

Opening the Abyss Gate to bring in an Ide weapon? The Beritra army is more terrifying than Tiamat, and I thought Tiamat was a nightmare!

If an Ide weapon is set off in Eltnen, the results would be catastrophic. Ide that has changed properties will bring on destruction contamination and all of Atreia will be in a state of emergency.
So they were trying to create an Abyss Gate in Eltnen?

This is serious. It will be some time before we can rally our forces for a permanent solution to this problem, but rest assured, you will not have fought in vain!
