Description:
Go to the Hongras Campsite and speak with Hongras. Talk with Serimnir in Marla Cave. Defeat Chieftain Dadum to obtain the Calydon Scroll and take it back to Atropos in Observatory Village. PlayerAtropos asked you to speak with Hongras about the secret weapons laboratory that was once in Theobomos.
Summary:
Atropos asked you you to speak to Hongras about the weapons research laboratory that was once in Theobomos.

Hongras told you about an apparent link between the Calydons and the secret weapon lab and suggested you get more information from Serimnir.

Serimnir confirmed that the Calydons share a common history with the weapons lab and something called Project Drakanhammer. He told you to obtain the Calydon Scroll from Chieftain Dadum.

When you returned to Atropos with the Calydon Scroll, she was amazed to discover that the Calydons once worshipped Project Drakanhammer, whatever it was.

Full quest's text:
Sanctum isn't interested in restoring Theobomos merely for historical reasons. There was once a weapons research laboratory here, during the Millennium War. Sanctum has a deep interest in recovering those weapons.

A geologist named Hongras has been working on this, but he requires some assistance.

Please go to the Hongras Campsite and see what he needs.

Player: Accept.

Nice to meet you. I suppose Atropos sent you, am I right?

I could certainly use some assistance. My research on Marla Cave and the local artifacts are more than I can manage on my own. My assistant tries to help, but her knowledge of geology is a bit... shall we say, lacking.

But enough about my personal struggles...

Player: "Atropos mentioned a weapons research lab..."

Right. The weapons lab. To tell you the truth, I'm actually not the resident expert on the subject. Most of what I know I learned from a recluse whom I met by chance.

His name is Serimnir and he believes there is some sort of connection between the weapons that were created here and the Calydons. That seems a bit absurd to me, but any lead is worth investigating. My own attempts to reach out to the Calydons have been met with violence, violence and a lot of grunting. Perhaps you would fair better.

First though, I think you should meet Serimnir in person. He should be somewhere in Marla Cave.

Player: "Somewhere in the cave... Great..."

Wait, aren't you...

(He studies you intently.)... What brought you here?

Why bother someone who has severed all ties with the world?

Player: "Hongras says you have information about the weapon's lab."

Ah, so the geologist sent you here? Hongras didn't believe me when I told him that the Calydons are somehow connected to the ancient weapons. I suppose I shouldn't blame him. Who would have imagined that the Calydons have such a long history? Everyone assumes they were primitive creatures mutated by the Cataclysm...

The Calydons were somehow involved with something called Project Drakanhammer. It was a secret project near the end of the Millennium War.

If you want to know more there is an ancient Calydon Scroll that chronicles their history. Unfortunately Chieftain Dadum guards it fiercely.

Player: "I see. Anything else I should know?"

Yes, actually. I wasn't certain if I should tell you this or not... You don't know me, Player, but I've known of you for a long time.

I know you because... I was once a Lepharist Revolutionary. The Lepharists kept a list of Daevas that they were gathering intelligence on. You were on that list, back when you were Brigade General of the Mirage Legion. But now you are... something different.

Just as I have a long story to tell, your story must also be long and complex. But why live in the past? What's done is done.

If you manage to take the Calydon Scroll from Chieftain Dadum, take it to Atropos. And tell her to never look for me again.

Player: "As you wish."

I'm glad you returned to us safely.

I was concerned that something had happened to you.

What happened with Hongras?

Player: "Where do I begin?"

You met Serimnir? I'm certain he knows more than he told you, but now that we've uncovered his hiding place, he will undoubtedly find a new one.

I've heard of Project Drakanhammer. Sanctum is looking for this, although I'm not certain what it is exactly. A weapon the Empyrean Lords never knew about? A colossal engine of destruction? Whatever it was, this scroll shows that the Calydons once worshipped it. They believed Aion had created it to watch over them.

There is much that we need to investigate further, but these discoveries are major breakthroughs. Well done, Player. Sanctum will be pleased.
