Arieluma, Player. I know that your journey to become a Protector has been long and arduous.

You have already proven yourself to Lord Kaisinel and I in countless ways, but all Protectors must craft their own Daevanion gear. The journey is every bit as important as the finished armor.

Meet once again with Argon. He will help you craft a fine Daevanion tunic.

Player: Accept

You may be immortal, Player, but you are not invincible. I've seen Daevas suffer injuries and, screaming in horror, return to Aether. However, I am not here to tell horror stories.

I wish for you to be blessed with a long and purposeful life, so I have designed you a Daevanion tunic. We shall embroider Kaisinel's Pattern of Vitality into its threads.

Naturally, I will need you to find me the proper materials. Why so glum? The tunic wouldn't be meaningful if I just did all the hard work for you.

Player: "Very well."

Kaisinel's Pattern of Vitality consists of Aither Essence and Blazing Breath. Your tunic simply will not do without them.

Return to me if you have any questions, Daeva. I'm positive you will.

Player: "Thank you."

I cannot begin to make Kaisinel's Pattern of Vitality without the Aither Essence and the Blazing Breath. Do you have them?

Player: "Here you are."

Aither Essence can be extracted from the Linkgate Foundry, Sauro Supply Base, Inggison Outpost, Danuar Sanctuary, Danuar Reliquary, Illuminary Obelisk, and the Tiamat Stronghold.

Remember to bring an Aither Glass Bottle with you. The essence is far too cold for any other container.

Player: "Thank you."

Some of the more fiery creatures of Atreia thrive despite living in extremely smoldering conditions. How? They are blessed with the eternal fire of Blazing Breath.

It's not literal breath, of course. You can take it from beasts roaming the South Gate and Ashen Glade.

Player: "I will."

This is marvelous, Daeva. The bitingly cold Aither Essence and the eternally burning Blazing Breath.

Do you have any idea what I'll make when I put these two blessed ingredients together?

Player: "Steam?"

Player, you are undoubtedly already full of life, or at least energy and patience. I believe the time has come for you to be rewarded.

Kaisinel's Pattern of Vitality will hopefully give you a little more air in your wings, strength in your swings, and pep in your step.

Now then, grant me some room. One wrong move and you'll have to go gather the ingredients again.

Player: "Please, no."

(With his tongue stuck out in concentration, Argon quickly embroiders Kaisinel's Pattern of Vitality on the tunic's back.)

(A blue light glows warmly along the lines of the pattern, growing brighter until it explodes in light.)

Player: "Looks good."

Now this is some of my finest work. I think this tunic will suit you well, Daeva. Perhaps it will distract from your less... blessed features.

Now, off to Agent Rike with you. Soar in the Light, Player.

Player: "Walk in the Light."

(Rike closes her eyes and gestures gracefully as she chants a spell.)

(With a flare of heat, glowing tendrils of light reach outward from your body to form a mass of energy in front of Rike's hands.)

(Rike directs the energy into the Daevanion tunic. You catch it in your ready grip.)
