The Rift that opens in the Krall Aether Mine takes you to the Black Mane Mountains in Norsvold.

Known to reside mostly in Asmodae and keep the Moogles as their minions, the Maus are a resilient race with a high affinity to nature, who managed to survive in Norsvold that was devastated after the Epic Cataclysm.

They live in an area formed on top of a huge Tower of Eternity fragment, and I heard that the area still preserves the environment of ancient Atreia due to the fragment.

Empyrean Lord Azariel has ordered us to investigate and scout the area.

Make your way to Norsvold through the Rift, and return after scouting the Black Mane Mountains.
