I asked you here because we have a situation in Iluma, and I feel strongly that you're the Daeva we need.

I know that's a bit vague, Player, but trust me. I didn't get to where I am by ignoring my insticts.

We're still dealing with strange occurances caused by the broken pieces of the Tower of Eternity scattered all over Iluma.

Most recently, we discovered something strange during our examination of the unstable tower pieces, so I wanted to ask for your help, Player.

If I do, I apologize. Ever since I investigated the Fissure of Oblivion, I don’t trust my own memory.

Player: “The Fissure of Oblivion?”

We recently discovered another unstable piece of the Tower of Eternity in Iluma. The Hymn of Aion put together a team to investigate the fissure that appeared there, but...

But somehow the team members that went inside don’t remember a single thing, and we don’t know why. I know that I entered the fissure, and returned unscathed, but... I have no idea what happened. I remember nothing. There's just... nothing.

That’s why we started to call it the Fissure of Oblivion.

Player: "I see."

Sometimes when I dream, I see... flashes of something, just some kind of... large ball of magic.

I feel like that might be why I can't remember antyhing. I think the orb is waiting for someone special, someone destined for it.... Only that person will be able to find out the truth about the Fissure of Oblivion.

Agent Viola thinks you might be that person, Player. Go through the Entrance to the Fissure of Oblivion to Fissure of Oblivion. Report anything you remember to Agent Viola.

Player: "Faith and arms!"

(You feel a mysterious, familiar energy radiating from the orb.)

Player: "What...?"

(Just as the words slowly fade out, the fog in your head slowly starts to lift.)

Player: "What was I doing...?

Hmm... I see. Somehow I thought you’d have better luck, Player....

It’s all right, Player. I sense that you're holding back, but I trust you. If you're not telling me everything, I'm sure you have your reasons.
