I know Loriniah--with your help, of course--attacked the MuMu farms to prevent them from growing Odella. Well, those blasted Skurvs are still growing Odella...just less of it.

So we're going to approach the problem from another angle: stop Odella refining, not Odella growing. After all, the Odella refining happens in just one place: a MuMu village not far from Basfelt Village.

It should be easier to disrupt a single village than it is to lock down a dozen fields, right?

Player: "That makes sense."

The MuMu won't abandon the Odella refining even if they're frightened out of their weak minds. The Mau "protecting" them will make sure of that.

But if you go to the MuMu Village and drive off the Mau, then the MuMu will flee along with them. That means no refined Odella, and we thwart whatever the Mau are planning on doing with it.

That's your mission: defeat the Black Claw Tribe in the MuMu Village!

Player: "The task is mine."

Blood for blood! Head to the MuMu Village immediately. Go to the hunting grounds in the north and proceed from there.

Kill five Mau, and I bet the MuMu start to desert their posts. Cowards!

Remember, only the Black Claw Tribe matter. You can kill MuMu too, but that's on your own initiative.

Player: "Got it."

Did you defeat the Black Claw Mau?

They aren't exactly elite, so a Daeva should have no problem with those fuzz-faces.

Player: "I killed five."

Without a full complement of Mau to guard them, the MuMu will be thinking like the weak-minded cowards they are.

Now we're going to push them over the edge. I have orders to put a fear-inducing toxin into the waterfall that the MuMu use as a water source.

But first, we need the fear toxin. Go see the hunter, Shania. She's an expert in both natural and manufactured poisons. She wanders around the village, but she shouldn't be hard to find.

Player: "I'll get the toxin from her."

Nokir sent you? Oh, you're under orders, then. I get a lot of poison requests from ordinary citizens...spurned lovers, impatient heirs, that sort of thing.

Hmmm...I know an effective poison for the MuMu. It's made from Arachna Poison Sac. But I'm currently out of it.

If you bring me poison sacs from an Arachna, though, I can make that poison for you.

Player: "An Arachna? Where?"

The Arachnas in the Mosbear Habitat have the most potent poison.

Go there, and get three Arachna Poison Sacs.

I will start brewing the toxin and wait for you here, Player.

Player: "On my way."

Did you get the Arachna Poison Sacs?

If I have the poison sacs, I can make the fear toxin to use against the MuMu.

Player: "Here they are."

To make the toxin for the MuMu's water, I need poison sacs from Arachnas.

Even I can't make poison out of thin air!

If you want to pour the fear toxin into the waterfall, bring me Arachna Poison Sacs.

Player: "I'll get them."

Just look at the color! These are great specimens.

There...it's done. Pour this into the waterfall near the MuMu Village, and the MuMu will flee from their own shadows!

But you don't want the fear toxin heading downstream too fast. Pour it into the pond under the first cascade of the waterfall.

Player: "Into the pond...Got it!"

Azphelumbra, Player. Did you pour the fear toxin into the pond below the waterfall?

It's the key to defeating the MuMu and the Mau.

Player: "Their water is tainted."

Excellent! Player, you were the key to the whole operation. I'm sure Commander Suthran will commend us both. Or he should, at any rate.
