The document was concerning South Relay, a large base that provides an important vantage point over the southern front. Most importantly, holding the South Relay gives us a path into Kaldor. The importance of controlling a connective route between Levinshor and Kaldor cannot be overstated.

I will not let the fate of my command rest on the shoulders of some toothy beast. Find it, see if it managed to get the Missing Bag with our intel wrapped around it's neck or something, and return it to me.
