I was dispatched here when a fragment of the artifact core that dropped from the Remants of Eternity was found at Evergale Canyon. No one has been able to find out more about it so far, but once we investigate the core fragment, we should have a better idea of what we're dealing with.

Investigating the artifact, however, would be a lot easier if those blasted Elyos weren't trying to do the same.

If you could take out Guardian Detachment Captain, the leader of the Elyos in the canyon, it'll cause enough of a distraction for us to start our mission.
