Description:
Talk with Fachmann. Find a Marchutan's Pattern of Perception, a Marchutan's Pattern of Mobility, and a Marchutan's Pattern of Endurance, then report back to Fachmann. PlayerTalk with Fachmann. Report to Skuldun. Agent Skuldun sent you to talk with Fachmann and craft a piece of Daevanion gear.
Summary:
Skuldun, an Agent of Marchutan, said you need greater abilities to become an Empyrean Lord's Protector. He sent you to craft Daevanion gear, with Fachmann's help.

Fachmann said crafting Daevanion gear requires preparing a piece of the Daevanion equipment and infusing it with the Daeva's essence through a ritual. He then told you to bring him an Engraving of Search, an Engraving of Speed, and an Engraving of Endurance to craft the Daevanion gear.

When you obtained the engravings for Fachmann, he crafted a pair of Daevanion shoes for you and sent you to Skuldun for the ritual, which worked perfectly.

Full quest's text:
Though Beritra has fled, we now face the worst crisis since we first ventured into Balaurea. With Empyrean Lord Marchutan still recovering... we need a protector who can defend the Asmodians against the threat of the Balaur.

Agent Aimah was the greatest of Marchutan's Iron Mace, and we must fill the void left by her death.

Few knew of Aimah's bravery, but her actions will never be forgotten. I am tasked with finding her replacement, and you are my first and only choice. Are you willing to take this mantle?

Player: Accept

To become an Empyrean Lord's Protector, you will need to craft yourself Daevanion gear. It is a very personal process that you must complete on your own.

Some Daevas find the process too extreme and demanding. I trust you will be up to the task.

For now, go talk with Fachmann. He will assist you with the crafting, Player.

Player: "I will."

Greetings, Player, I've been waiting for you. I received a request from Agent Skuldun to help you craft Daevanion gear.

You may have heard of or admired this type of gear, but know that it comes at a heavy price.

Are you still willing?

Player: "I am."

Every member of Marchutan's Iron Mace is using Daevanion gear. There is nothing else like it.

You may think your shoes fit well now, but they are nothing more than their materials. Daevanion gear is bound to the wearer or user. Once completed, it works in harmony with you to unleash great powers.

Your Daevanion gear will respond to you, help you, empower you. When you die, your gear may go with you. Just like with Agent Aimah...

Player: "I see."

Daevanion gear is crafted specifically for each individual Daeva, and is then bound to the wearer's essence. The item itself is infused with the power of its user. This, combined with the enchantments placed on the item, allows the Daeva to unlock greater potential in battle.

When I say "essence", I am referring to the energy that makes you a Daeva. Aion's power, and the ferocity with which you use that power. The battles you've fought in Aion's name, whether you've won or lost. Your oneness with the Aether. All the things that are a part of who you are.

First, the item is crafted with the Daeva in mind. Then, we perform a ritual to infuse the item with the Daeva's essence. In this case, the ritual will be carried out by Agent Skuldun. If you're interested, should we start gathering the materials we need?

Player: "I am interested."

Let's start from the bottom, shall we? Imagine how fleet-footed you could be with soul infused soles. I will help you, but first you must find the materials.

There are materials you need to craft a Daevanion shoe prototype. Some are basic materials you can find quite easily, but there are others that will take some effort.

The materials you need to get are a Marchutan's Pattern of Perception, a Marchutan's Pattern of Mobility, and a Marchutan's Pattern of Endurance.

Ask Hikait about how to get the engravings. He will explain it to you in detail.

Player: "I will."

You need three types of engravings to craft a Daevanion shoe prototype.

They are the Marchutan's Pattern of Perception, the Marchutan's Pattern of Mobility, and the Marchutan's Pattern of Endurance.

Do you have the engravings ready?

Player: "I do."

So you brought all three engravings that Hikait has given you.

Let's see... patterns for Perception, Mobility, and Endurance. Everything we need is here.

I see you understand how important this is, Daeva. I am pleased.

Player: "Thank you."

To tell you the truth, these engravings don't have any special powers. I just think they make such beautiful patterns....

Hah. I kid! These designs will help guide you safely along the right path. You really thought I'd make you do all that for nothing?

Now, just give me a moment with these....

Player: "Fine...."

(Fachmann is deftly carving the three engravings onto the shoes.)

(A golden light glows brightly along the flowing lines, slowly fading back into the material.)

Player: Well, it IS pretty

All done! Here are your basic Daevanion shoes.

Take them to Agent Skuldun for the ritual.

The divine energy that has accumulated in your body and mind throughout your life as a Daeva will become one with the Daevanion shoes. When the ritual ends, you will have a pair of finely-crafted footwear that will last you all your life, Player.

Player: "Nifty."

(Skuldun closes his eyes and and raises his hands.)

(With a flare of heat, glowing tendrils of light move outward from your body, reaching towards Skuldun's hands.)

(Guided by Skuldun, the mass of energy floats over and into the Daevanion shoes.)

May you always overcome!
