Katalam is a Balaurean region found south of Gelkmaros and Inggison. It once belonged to the Danuar, but fell to Tiamat after their disappearance. We... thought the lands would fall to us after Tiamat had been slain. This was not entirely true.

With Tiamat slain, the Elyos and Beritra have both moved to challenge our dominion over Katalam. The Elyos are certainly a threat, but Beritra has been seen moving his invasion machines to battle.

Meet with Commander Vard. He will guide you through your missions in Katalam. With his mind and your blade, our victory is assured.

Our first objective is to capture each base, as well as the Sillus Fortress. If we can hold these strategic points, the open lands won't be much of a threat.
