Based on the description, Girard sounds like an Asmodian who became an Undead in the attempt to occupy the Hererim Mine.

But didn't you say Bukarota was carrying these possessions? It's creased, but it seems to be some kind of ledger.

I'm not sure if this Bukarota is also an Asmodian.

If you examine the ledger, you might succeed in finding out more.
