Description:

Summary:
Riati from the 1st Research Centre in Pandaemonium asked you for support at the Aether Research Group Campsite.

Before you left for the Aether Research Group Campsite, you learned about windstreams from the Windstream Maintenance Officer Bezatik.

You took the windstream and met Irkale in the Aether Research Group Campsite.

Full quest's text:
Here at the 1st Pandaemonium Research Centre we are looking for a way to obtain Aether.

Because this is the most Aether-rich place in Gelkmaros.

But according to our research, aethertapping is more difficult than expected.

There are too many dangerous creatures in the area. There are also hardly any Aether Stones here.
But luckily we can use the Aether Energy in Krug Basin.

Unfortunately; it isn't all that easy to refine this Aether for use with the Aether artillery.

As you are probably aware, the members of the 1st Pandaemonium Research Centre are well versed in the use of Aether.

These skills cannot be learned. You either have them or you don't.

Lately, however, the Brigade General of the fortress has imposed exacting standards.

We must be good in battle and at the same time be able to operate complicated devices such as the Aerial Aether Searcher.
But talented Daevas like this aren't as common as grains of sand on the beach. Our skills are limited.

Apparently, you've never experienced the dizziness that almost anyone feels when they enter Balaurea for the first time.

If you weren't an Archon of Dusk, you'd also have been able to join the 1st Pandaemonium Research Centre.

Which is why I'd like to ask you for a favour: please help us at the Aether Research Group Campsite.

I can't trust anyone but you.
Haha, I like you a lot!

The fastest way to get to the Aether Research Group Campsite is via the windstream. Due to pressure differences, air currents have developed in Balaurea, which we call windstreams.

If this is your first time in Balaurea, you probably aren't familiar with the windstream yet. Go to Bezatik, the Windstream Maintenance Soldier, and have him explain how to use the windstream.

Then go to the Aether Research Group Campsite.
Flight speed has nothing to do with body size!

Just as walking speed and body height do not influence each other!

What do you think, Player?
(Nods.) So, you want to find out more about the air currents.

I would have thought that a Daeva who had made it to Gelkmaros would already know... But I'll explain it to you again.

Due to pressure differences, air currents have developed in Balaurea, which we call windstreams. You can use these windstreams to travel to distant places in a flash.

You just need to learn to use the air current properly and they will allow you to fly higher and higher to reach your destination.

Sometimes the windstreams can take you to strange places... The use of the air currents depends on your skills.
That's all just theory! You need to actually try it to really get to grips with it!

I just don't get how some people don't understand that.

Oh, I don't mean you of course. Don't get me wrong.

But you know the saying "The proof of the pudding is in the eating", don't you?
Good! Then let me explain your mission to you.

Take the Windstream that starts at Gelkmaros Fortress. Allow yourself to be carried along in the strong air current. But the Gelkmaros Windstream is very short. When it ends you need to switch to the Netherworld Windstream.

But that's not all! The Netherworld Windstream takes you to Antagor Canyon.

If you don't make any mistakes, you will eventually reach the Aether Research Group Campsite. Meet Irkale there.

Time and again, even experienced legionaries come to grief while trying to use the Windstreams! Hopefully, you'll manage it first time.
Riati sent you?

In that case, you must be particularly resistant to Aether.

Sorry if I was unfriendly. I'm just a bit irritated because Daevas are constantly getting hurt in Krug Basin.

If you wait for a moment I'll explain your mission, Player.
