Summary:
You took a decision and went to find Lyle, whom you met in the Temporary NK Laboratory.

Lyle told you about several missing persons, including his brother Anuk. He also explained his suspicions about Nakisix and Stella.

Lyle said that Stella bribes people to silence them and that you can't trust anyone.

He suggested that you should pretend to work for Stella to gather evidence.

During a break, you received the message that you had been promoted to the role of development manager at Stella.

Stella tasked you with destroying the Snuwa Tribes.

While you were busy destroying the Snuwa, you noticed something strange.

You also discovered Anuk, who was under the influence of Nakisix, but you couldn't take him with you as you couldn't talk to him.

So you first completed the mission to destroy the Snuwa and then seized the opportunity to pocket Stella's secret documents.

The documents confirmed that Stella knew about the addictive potential of Nakisix and still distributed it to the Rega, the Elyos, the Asmodians, and the Balaur. Stella intended to use the remaining power that it had extracted from the Dragon Lord Legacy as the raw material for Nakisix.

Based on these findings, you told Patrol Commander Monan about the addictive potential of Nakisix and the evil deeds of the Stella Corporation.

But Monan said he would pretend he hadn't seen anything, and got rid of the evidence.

You told Lyle about it and he was furious.

Full quest's text:
I knew you'd come back.

As you're here, I'll tell you what I know.

Ultimately, I base my suspicions against the Stella Corporation on Anuk's disappearance.

My older brother, Anuk, disappeared suddenly while leading the Rega Purge.

His superiors say he deserted, but I know Anuk, he takes his responsibility very seriously and would never have done that.

So I tried to find him.
I noticed some irregularities while going through the information.

First: Anuk disappeared shortly after he received NK-VI from Stella.

Second: In addition to him, a lot of other soldiers have vanished too.

Third: The only common factor is that they took Nakisix...
Yes. I've been losing sleep over NK-VI, but now I suspect the Stella Corporation, which manufactured and distributed Nakisix.

I wonder if it's really true...?

The more I investigate, the more irregularities I find.

Do you recall the Temporary NK Laboratory where we first met?

That's where we found out that Nakisix has a serious side effect referred to as a 'continuous thirst for use'.

Stella is, of course, keeping this undesirable effect secret and has even gone so far as to experiment on living creatures...
Stella is investing enormous sums to cover up this scandal.

The military command has been loyal to Stella for ages. Stella bribed its way into their confidence.

The military is just as corrupt as Stella. But who would ever believe it...

We have to find hard evidence and bring the truth to light.

Stella trusts you, so you should make good use of this opportunity, Player.

Act like you're a loyal member of Stella and investigate them.
Have you recovered?

I let you have a break and hope you won't disappoint me again.

We received some good news while you were resting.

I hope you'll reconsider and accept the mission.
You're being promoted to the role of development manager at Stella.

Development manager means you're practically a board member.

That looks like a meteoric career.

Hey, don't forget me as you race up the ranks at Stella, huh?

I did look out for you from the beginning after all!

Ahem. Your promotion includes a new mission.

Meet with Stelkun, a Stella employee dispatched to the Snuwa village.
Ah, you're that Player everyone is talking about, right?

We're really busy just now, so I'll just summarise the mission details for you.

Those Snuwa pests are stopping us from carrying out the development Stella commissioned.

The Snuwa are Sapiens native to Dumaha. They are still loyal to Apsu, a Dragon Lord who died a long time ago.

Oh. Pretty old-fashioned and barbaric if you ask me.
Those damned Snuwa are refusing to leave their village and the Apsu altar. They're standing in the way of progress.

We gave the Snuwa money and new land to settle in so we could construct a new facility around the village and the altar.

The Snuwa appeared happy to comply, and we did pay them.

But it turns out they are ungrateful wretches!

They broke their promise and didn't clear out! Instead, they stole Stella's precious Nakisix.

We are falling behind on deadlines and are deep in the red.

Quick, quick, Daeva! You must help us! Quickly!
Ha... marvellous. Great!

Mine... All of it... That is my Nakisix.

*cough* Not enough... P... Please... I need more!
Y... You...! You're after my Nakisix, aren't you?

Grrr! ... How dare you? Mine... All of it... That is my Nakisix.

Don't come any closer! One step closer and you'll regret it! Argh...!

(He is clearly very addicted to Nakisix and is clinging onto it for dear life.)

(It appears to be impossible to reason with him.)
Did you do what was necessary, Daeva?

Did you drive out those disgusting Snuwa?
Oh! You have accomplished so much!

Is that why you were promoted to development manager?

We're behind schedule, so we haven't dared show our faces at headquarters.

But today we celebrate! Yes indeed!

(While he hums merrily, a sheet of paper falls to the floor.)
(Stelkun accidentally dropped this document.)

(It looks like a report intended for Stella Headquarters.)

(It appears to contain confidential information.)

(Pocket it without Stelkun seeing.)
*ahem* I wasn't imagining things.

You actually obtained the report. So your mission was successful?

Stella was extremely satisfied.

Thanks to your efforts, I was re-evaluated too.

You're my lucky charm. Hahaha.
And? What do you think?

Maybe you should get some rest and clear your mind.

Think this over in peace and quiet. Stella and us stick together like glue now. We're in the same boat, as they say.

Get on Stella's good side and your future will be just as golden.

What am I supposed to do with this? Ahem... I'll just pretend I didn't see that.

(He shoves the report deep into his briefcase.)
Ha! So they distributed NK-VI among the Rega, Asmodian, Elyos and Snuwa deliberately?

What do they hope to gain by getting so many creatures addicted to Nakisix?

Why do they want to ruin them?

It makes me shudder... time and again.
