That's probably why so many shells can still be found along the coast. The real issue is that someone discovered extremely rare red pearls in these shells.

It looks like this region was once their habitat. Could you gather some [plur]Red Pearl Whelkus[pl:"Whelkuses"] on the coast and look to see if you can find pearls inside, Player?

Once you find them, take them to Denaul so he can assess their value.

I don't think that Gardon meant ill when he asked you to bring to pearls to me for appraisal.

Otherwise, he'd hardly have sent you to a scientist like me.

If we scientists were only to pursue our own interests, ultimately we wouldn't be able to do our work and essentially would obstruct our own progress.

That's why we'll assist anyone who wants something appraised to benefit the entire Troop.

I trust that Gardon has the well-being of the entire Expedition Troop in mind.
