There’s a special task I’d like to give you.

I called you here because you’ve caught my eye.

You’ve been with us for some time now, and I’ve something of a test for you to complete. Now’s your chance to shine.

Don’t worry. Everyone mercenary must take this test at some point or other.

But there’s something you need to do before I can tell you more.
Do you know what an Obelisk[pl:"Obelisks"] is?

When you bind to an Obelisk, you can resurrect there if anything happens to you on a mission.

It would be useful for you to know how to use an Obelisk.

There’s one right here in town, bind to it now.

If anything happens to you, you’ll resurrect there.

Come back after you’ve bound to it and I’ll explain more about your mission.
Now let me tell you more about your mission.

I have signed a contract with Akarios Village, and I’d like you to take care of the village’s security, and keep an eye on the local Sapien.

Here are your first four contracts. There’s a fifth, but it’s risky, and I’ll only give it to you when you’ve completed the rest.

You needn’t complete them in a set order, but it’ll help if you do. If you can’t manage the first four, there’s no chance you’ll be able to get through that last one.

Don’t forget to use the [plur]Obelisk[pl:"Obelisks"]. I’ll also give you a Kisk you can use if there isn’t an Obelisk nearby.
