Deep within the earth under Mahindel Swamp, I can feel pulses of energy. Mystical energy.

I've studied this sort of thing before. That's why Brigade General Suthran assigned me to this forward post.

But if I'm going to learn more, Player, I'm going to need your help.
I'm not going to lie. This is a really dangerous task--too dangerous for me.

Go to the entrance of the Black Claw Outpost and examine the large totem. I need to know what the Mau are placing there as offerings.

The Mau will tear apart any intruders, but I can give you a magical disguise that will make you look like a Mau. Don't talk or fight, and it should hold up...for a little while.


Remember, this disguise won't last for long. Get a close look at the base of the totem on the hill, then head back right away.

Let me know when you are ready, and I will transform you.

There are [plur]Zemurru’s Totem[pl:"Totems"] in the Black Claw Outpost.

Yes, that’s right. Zemurru, the leader who made the Mau force so strong. He is a legend among his kind.

These totems symbolise their hero Zemurru. The Mau worship them.

If you destroy these totems, you will do great damage to the Mau. They will think that Zemurru himself has been defeated.
Go into their base and destroy all three of [plur]Zemurru’s Totem[pl:"Totems"].

You will find them deep within the base. They are hewn from stone and are heavily guarded. You can’t miss them.

This mission is important, as it undermines their fighting morale. So come back successfully.
I wish I was more of a soldier. Then I could go fight the Mau with you.
