We’ve got a problem with the Artefact of Protection, winglet.

I just don’t know how we are going to normalise this Artefact of Protection that you have discovered without confronting the Protector.

Everything you’ve done here has been leading up to this. We need to use the artefact!
Obviously, we can’t get anywhere near the Artefact of Protection without dealing with its Protector.

It seems simple, but apparently, Yamennes is not at all normal. His behaviour has been described as... insane.

He’s been so infected by the Artefact, that he’s completely out of his mind.

It would be difficult enough to fight under normal circumstances, but you know how insanity can increase power. Knowing that, will you help us?
If you go down to the Splintercore and touch Artefact of Protection, Yamennes will appear.

We can't turn back now. We've sacrificed a lot to claim the Divine Fortress and make it this far. The Artefact is in reach; we must grasp it.

if you manage it, and the Artefact of Protection returns to normal, make sure it works and report to Governor Votan. If we can't use it...well, I hope we can.
