My fellow members of the Protectorate,

Field Scanners were placed in key areas of Gelkmaros to track the flow of Aether in Balaurea.

Recently several scanners were destroyed, and we believe the native wildlife is responsible.

The Gelkmaros Field Scanners were custom made by our Research Laboratory in Pandaemonium, and they are neither easy nor cheap to manufacture. If we have to keep replacing them like this, we will soon have a huge financial problem.

The Protectorate are hereby asked to deplete the local Starved Barghest population in an effort to curb their evident intolerance of our scanners. Afterward, please report your result to the Gelkmaros Branch Member.

Do you realise how difficult it is to custom-manufacture a Field Scanner? Those things are so precise, they can even track the flow of Aether within a specific Daeva! Not that there would be any use for such a thing, of course.
