There was not a single failure. By using four of any Aura Stone, it made it possible to allow for a new Stigma to be used.

However, it was not easy to get four of the Aura Stones because they were only available in Taloc's Hollow.

The reason why Taloc's Shard hold a surprising amount of Aether is most likely due to the fact that they accumulate them to survive inside the unstable Taloc's Hollow.

The energy of the accumulated Aether is a key factor in the use of Stigma.

There are only three ways to get the Aura Stones of Taloc's Shard.

By eliminating Kinquid, Queen Mosqua, and Celestius, you Taloc's Shard. You have to descend to the deepest parts of Taloc.
