icon Quest
Type: Quest
Category: Pandaemonium
Level: 29
Asmodian Only

Description:
Obtain Master test items from Obirunerk. Make Agehia's Noble Necklace and bring it to Lanse. PlayerObtain Master test items from Obirunerk again. You are ready to take the Handicrafting Master test. Make a Necklace for High Priest Agehia and prove yourself to be a master.
Summary:
Lanse decided that you were ready to take the Master level test in Handicrafting.

You fashioned Agehia's Noble Necklace for the High Priest of the Convent of Marchutan and brought it for approval.

Lanse took the Necklace and told you to return later for her final judgment.

Full quest's text:
When I said before I had nothing more to teach you, perhaps what I really meant was that I didn't think you could improve any more than you already had.

But now I see I was mistaken. You truly are an amazing student.

I think you're ready for the next level.

Player: "I feel ready!"

Good, because an opportunity has come to put you to the test. I want to make an offering to High Priest Agehia at the Convent of Marchutan, and I want you to make that offering.

It may not be easy, but it'll prove your skills to anyone with half a brain.

You've passed every test I've given you. Ready for this one?

Player: Accept.

I knew you'd say that. In fact, I've already created the design for the offering--a Necklace--and a prototype. Ask Obirunerk for them.

My pride is at stake as well as yours. I know you'll do me proud.

Player: "Of course! Watch me!"

What are you looking for, nyerk?

Obirunerk has seen you at work. You want to create something special this time, yes?

Player: "I'm here for the Master test."

Akakakakak! Yes, the Master test is something special!

For sale are two designs that could let you make Agehia's Noble Necklace. You cannot use either more than once, though.

One is cheaper, but less likely you can make what you need from it. Which does Daeva wish to hear more about?

Player: "What's this Agehia's Necklace design?"

Ah, this design very basic. Much left to Daeva making it, many hard decisions.

Sometimes you can make Agehia's Noble Necklace from this design--sometimes not. Depends on skill!

But design also cheaper--just 167,500 Kinah, includes prototype! Do you still want to buy?

Player: "Yes, I would."

This design very detailed--shows every little part of making it! You'll make Agehia's Noble Necklace for sure!

But extra work means extra cost, nyerk--223,000 Kinah. But that does include prototype.

Do you want to buy Agehia's Noble Necklace design, then?

Player: "Yes, I would."

I despise the fashion-crazed Daevas at Vanahal Boutique who think jewelry is all about looking pretty.

They don't have the slightest conception what goes into Handicrafting, or that it's about more than shiny stones.

Maybe you can prove that to them after you become a Master. Do you have something to show me?

Player: "Yes--a certain necklace."

Theory is all well and good, Player, but it doesn't put a bow in the hand or a ring on the finger.

I can't cut you any slack at this level--you need to create Agehia's Noble Necklace to earn your title.

I am not worried, and you shouldn't be either.

Player: "Thank you for your confidence."

It IS one of my better designs, isn't it? I'm quite proud of it. But every Handicrafter puts his or her unique mark on a creation.

That's why I never judge a design or a Handicrafter until results are in my hands.

Still, it's a good idea to study the Agehia's Noble Necklace first. Just make sure to turn study into action.

Player: "I always take action."

Making Agehia's Noble Necklace is harder than it looks, isn't it?

Well, of course. I couldn't exactly ask you to create a Tecoma Board for a Master test, could I?

Well, ask Chiwurinerk for the Agehia's Noble Necklace design again. And do be careful this time.

Player: "I always am."

I didn't expect you back, Daeva. I guess you failed your first time out, nyerk.

Do not fret! Obirunerk did not make profit with very first sale!

But you will need Kinah if you want to try test again. Akakakak.

Player: "I need another design."

Sorry, you do not have enough Kinah, nyerk.

That is deal Obirunerk made with Lanse--run shop for her in exchange for profit.

But not much demand for Master designs. When you return with Kinah, copies will still be here!

Player: "They'd better be."

Stupendous! You combine delicacy and strength so well--it's amazing that so many think they can't go together.

But that's just an initial appraisal. I'll have to make a more detailed examination to determine if you pass the test.

I'll let you know when I've finished my findings. I think we both hope for the best.
