One of our tribe, Davlin, has a talent for creating golems. Imagine if she could raise a massive army to fight the Balaur.

Well, she had a mansion built deep in a forest so she could work in peace.

Player: "But the Balaur found out."

Yes! I have no idea how, but they did. Davlin often went months between letters, so we have no way of knowing when it happened.

Fortunately, one of Davlin's Hetgolems escaped with a message. She was attacked by a Balaur contingent led by a Drakan named Zadra Spellweaver.

Davlin's creations serving Balaur commands would be disastrous.

Player: "I see. What else do you know?"

Not much. The mansion lies deep within Ladis Forest. But apparently it too has been taken over and twisted.

I sent a soldier named Brenon there, and he reported a strange barrier over the mansion that blocks all attempts to enter or leave.

Can you help us in this time of crisis?

Player: Accept.

He's been scouting the situation since the first. He'll have more to tell you, I'm sure.

Davlin isn't only a great sorcerer, but a beloved member of our tribe. For her sake, for all our sakes, please help her.

Dorgel Manor lies deep within the forest, but there are other barriers.

Player: "Like what?"

There's also Tuali. It's one of Davlin's most powerful golems, created to guard the forest.

Zadra corrupted it with the others. Now it guards the Magic Stone, the one object that can penetrate the barrier over the mansion.

Zadra is powerful, but not enough to destroy the Magic Stone. That's our chance. Take it back to Sierrac once you get it.

Player: "Understood."

So you've been to Ladis Forest. Then you must have seen how beautiful it once was.

Oh, it may still be so now, but with the Balaur's evil infecting it, I'm afraid it's a mere shadow.

Perhaps freeing Davlin will free the forest as well. Did you find a way into the mansion?

Player: "I believe so."

Ah, yes, I think I've heard of the Magic Stone, created by spirits who dwell in Ladis Forest.

There is much power there, you know, in every tree and blade of grass. It should be enough to break the barrier.

I think Brenon's plan is best: defeat Tuali and bring me the Magic Stone.

Player: "I'll be back triumphant."

A pity you had to destroy Tuali. But hopefully Davlin can restore it...once she is safe.
