I was stationed there on patrol near the outer walls, so I was one of those able to escape.

But before that, I battled the Balaur. In the chaos, I lost something...very important to me.

Player: "Which is?"

It was a keepsake from my father, Siel's Spear Insignia. He was with the original Siel's Spear Legionaries, you see.

He was displaced many years ago. My entire family misses him terribly, and that insignia is the only thing of his remaining.

If you return to Rentus Outpost, I beg you to please look for it. I don't feel right with it in the Balaur's hands.

No...no, you don't have it yet. I realize Rentus is a big place, now filled with our common enemy.

But if Siel's Spear Insignia is still not lying on the floor somewhere, I'm sure a Vasharti Butcher must have it.

To them, it's probably just a trophy. To me, it's so much more. Please find it.

Yes! I'd recognize it anywhere, in any condition!

Give me a moment to polish it.... I can't stand the thought of a Balaur's touch on its surface.
