Fire Gazers can became Fire Ascendants when they train for 1,000 years.

Most of that time is spent crafting their mani orbs.

They do good deeds to accumulate their goodwill and use that pure, steadfast energy to polish their mani.

But the Callous from Auriga tainted my mani orb with her sinister energy and made all of my efforts for naught.

So long as the orb is corrupted, even if I were to persevere another thousand years nothing would change.

It is essential that I purify my mani and make it pure again to start over.

As long as I have all the right materials, I will be able to start the fire.

Could you gather Flint Fire Materialss located throughout Charring Peak?

There are three ingredients I'll need: Warding Woods, Animating Breaths, and Steadfast Sparks.

Once you've gathered everything, I will meet you again at Cave of Embers.

Phew... You will not be able to fathom how much help this all has been.

It may only seem like a sputtering flame, but I shall maintain it until it naturally becomes embers, just like this cave's namesake.
