The Kobold had taken over that place a long time ago, you see. It's far too late to do something about it now, don't you think?

But it's a different story if there's Odium involved. We can't let the Kobold or the Krall acquire Aether no matter the sacrifice.

I've heard that the Kobold have managed to refine Odium at the Keabarah Strip Mine near Akarios Village.

But word is that they've started refining Odium around here too! And at an even greater scale than at Akarios Village.

There's no knowing what they might do if they acquire the power of Aether.

We've got to stop them. There's not a moment to waste!

Make your way to Dukaki Settlement right now and eliminate Dukaki Miner.

The Krall have apparently taught the Kobold how to distinguish Odium. Not all Kobolds, of course, just some of them.

In any case, we must do whatever it takes to stop them from mining more Odium.

I'm not completely sure, but I suspect that it's got something to do with Odium.

The next mission, however, will be more difficult and complex.

I've been wondering how the Kobold were able to refine Odium. Turns out, the Krall had supplied them with some chemical substance. They even trained Overseer Redtum to put a specific amount of it into the cauldron at given times.

A specific amount of that chemical substance must be added at given times. Putting any more would dissolve all the Odium.

Player: "I see."

But it won't be easy to find Kobolds that carry the chemical substance. After all, they all look the same.

When the bell in the Dukaki Settlement rings, all of them go running to put the chemical substance into the cauldron.

Therefore, you must first defeat Tursin Bigmouth, seize its Striking Rod, and use it to ring the bell.

The bell is near a rocky hill enclosed within a wooden fence. There's a small lake nearby, so you shouldn't have problems locating it.

When the bell rings, the Overseer Redtum will come running. Defeat them and take their Odium Solvent.

Then climb up the rocky hill and pour all of the Odium Solvent into the cauldron and your mission is complete. It will dissolve the Odium and render it useless.
