Summary:
Brigade General Valetta said the Asmodians needed a strong foothold in Vorgaltem to turn the tide in their favor.

At Ankea's direction, you defeated Drakes and Drakan in the Vorgaltem Battlefield. Then you were sent to meet Vegrim.

Vegrim told you to obtain Queen Klawtiar's scentbag and take it to the Great Scholar, who was surprisingly willing to refine it for you.

Vegrim told you to sprinkle the refined scentbag liquid on your body, with which you coerced the Klaws to destroy the Mitrakand Defense Stone at the Twilight Drana Farm.

Seizing the opportunity to approach the Drana Control Tower, you destroyed it with a Special Aether Bomb that Vegrim gave you. Then you reported the day's strange activities to Valetta.

Full quest's text:
Welcome back, Player. In your absence we have learned much about Kumbanda and his motives.

Kumbanda seems to be heading for the Vorgaltem Battlefield. This is quite an unexpected move. He is heading straight into an area swarming with Tiamat's legions, when he should be moving away from them.

I already asked for the Reian Anilmo's help in figuring out Kumbanda's motives. I hope to hear his report soon. In the meantime, we must assume Kumbanda is heading there, and prepare.

Player: "What is your plan?"

In short: we must drive the Balaur from the Vorgaltem Battlefield.

Vorgaltem is closest to the Balaur bulwark, and an entrance to the Silentera Canyon can be found there. If we fail to win there, we may as well give up any hope of stopping Kumbanda.

We must weaken the Balaur! Ankea at the Scout Post will direct your efforts.

Player: "I will do this immediately."

What are you doing here? This is a dangerous place.

I recommend you head back into the fortress where it's safe.

Player: "Valetta sent me."

Oh, I'm sorry, Player. I didn't recognize you. Forgive me--obviously you can handle yourself out here.

Valetta mentioned my plan? Here is the gist of it: smash the Balaur!

That's it. Eliminate every Balaur of Vorgaltem Battlefield and Naduka Wardrake you find. To the last one!

Player: "Straight to Plan B--I like it."

Hah! That must have been quite the battle. I could hear it from here. Was that you? Someone was certainly showing those Drakan and Drakes a hard time.

Player: "The task is done."

Well done! The Balaur must be dispirited now, but there is no time for celebration. Mitrakand will send new legions soon enough.

Go see Vegrim at the Drana Farm Observation Post. He is in charge of watching the Twilight Drana Farm and may have some idea of how to take it.

May fate guide you.

Player: "Blood for blood."

Use caution, Daeva. The Twilight Drana Farm--the key energy source of Balaur--is quite nearby, and beyond it the Balaur city of Mitrakand.

If you were to take one accidental step in the wrong direction, you'd never be seen alive again!

Player: "Ankea said to speak with you."

Oh, really? Well as it turns out...I have an excellent plan to destroy the Twilight Drana Farm. We're going to use...Klaws.

No, not claws. Klaws. I saw a swarm of Klaws destroying facilities at the Drana farm. If we can direct their aggression, we can do much more damage.

But we need something special--Queen Klawtiar's scentbag. I know it sounds filthy, but trust me. You can find it inside the Maze Cave in the north of Twilight Drana Farm.

Player: "This better not be a prank."

To the Maze Cave and back already? The Queen must have been a tough target, even for you...

If you really did defeat her, show me her scentbag.

Player: "Is this...ugh...it?"

Well...this smells more disgusting than I'd hoped. It's just the thing we need. Quite useless as it is, though....

Take the scentbag to Great Scholar Fjoersvith in the Convent of Marchutan. She will be able to refine the scent so we can use it.

Player: "You're sure this isn't a joke?"

What brings you here? If you have come to ask some trivial question, you can just go to the...Corridor of Knowl...

What is that smell? Is that you?

Is this some sort of practical joke?

Player: "That's what I asked...but it's this."

A Klaw Queen's scentbag? Disgusting...but I can see how this might be useful to you. It is not an elaborate strategy, but surely an effective one.

Quite simply, if you are covered with this scent, Klaws will mistake you for their queen and follow your orders. No one else will want to come near you, of course, but then you may already have that problem.

Regardless, I will extract and refine the scent before it evaporates. This will take but a moment....

Player: "I can wait...."

Here! The refined scent has been sealed in this bottle. It will only work once, so take care with it.

Now, leave me. My head aches. Go!

Player: "As you wish."

Is that you, Player? I could tell by the smell!

So, what did the Great Scholar say when you handed her the scentbag? Was she able to refine it?

Player: "Yes, and now it smells worse."

Now, at the Twilight Drana Farm is a Mitrakand Defense Stone. It attacks whatever comes close and calls out to Balaur around it.

The Klaws can easily destroy the defense stone, and distract the Balaur at the same time. They just need direction.

Spray the scent on your body and the Klaws will follow you to the Mitrakand Defense Stone, where you order them to attack it.

Player: "I'm excited to be part of this plan."

My scouts said the operation went well! A brilliant strategy--we make a good team.

I suppose since we've made so much ground, we may as well push on through. Are you up for it?

Player: "Does it involve scentbags?"

Hah, no. It involves blowing up the Drana Control Tower, right in the center of the Twilight Drana Farm.

I've had this Aether Bomb for a while now, but we haven't been able to get close enough to use it on the tower.

Just place the bomb at the Drana Control Tower, and the timer will automatically start. Don't let the Balaur see you coming!

Player: "I'll be careful."

Azphelumbra, Player. Did you install the bomb in the Drana Control Tower?

Player: "I did."

Excellent work! Without the supplies from the farm, the Balaur will be forced to withdraw.

We must report this achievement to Brigade General Valetta. We can share the glory.

Player: "Blood for blood."

You neutralized the Twilight Drana Farm? That was a firm Balaur stronghold, a tough target even for the Archons. This is excellent work.

I knew Vegrim was interested in Klaws, but I didn't know why. I had no idea he might use them to destroy the Drana farm. A curious tactic, but it worked.

Whatever the means, we have found ourselves an excellent end. Take this reward, and please, take some time off to relax here in the fortress. You'll need it for what's to come.
