Summary:
Brigade General Versetti said the Aetheric Field Generator must be destroyed. He ordered you to talk to Centurions Thalia and Kerus at the Temple of Scales and the Altar of Avarice to gain passage to the Beshmundir Temple.

With the Aether bombs obtained from Yuditio, you entered the Beshmundir Temple through the Silentera Canyon. There you destroyed the protection stones for the Field Generation Device. When you smashed the device's core, it disappeared as if it were never there.

You reported back to Agent Outremus, who praised your efforts and said it would now be possible to launch the Obelium and advance to Tiamaranta.

Full quest's text:
I read the report from Soteria Sanctuary recently. Good work discovering the Aetheric Field Generator in the Beshmundir Temple.

Player: "Beshmudir will be a hard nut to crack."

I'm sure! The size, the purpose, nobody knows anything for certain.

What if it's a Balaur tomb? That's my theory.

And now that Hushblade scouts have discovered an entrance to the Beshmundir Temple, we can assemble and dispatch an investigation team.

Player: "Discovered an entrance? How?"

I'm happy to see your curiosity grows every time I see you. Go speak with Centurion Thalia at the Temple of Scales and Centurion Kerus at the Altar of Avarice. They can tell you how to reach the Beshmundir Temple.

Likewise, Secundila and Phailos will give you packages for the Temple and Altar.

Remember that your actions reflect on you, me, and all Elyos.

Player: "I'll walk in the light, General."

You getting sent to the Temple of Scales?

Then it's a good thing you came to see me first! I've been holding onto this super-special Obelisk for a while now. Yeah, maybe it's three times more powerful than a regular Obelisk, but magic helped make this thing, and I want it out of my area!

Heeeeey. You got the time to see Phailos before you go? He'd give you another one, and then you could have two crazy Obelisks for Centurion Thalia at once.

Player: "Sounds like a plan."

I did some research after hearing about the unstable Aether reception at the Altar of Avarice's Obelisk.

Shards! That Altar of Avarice is a scary place. Tiamat's Legion slaughtered the rival Balaur and sacrificed their blood on that altar. Maybe some curse is interfering with the Obelisk?

Player: "General Versetti sends me for Obelisk duty."

Then you'll want this Stonecrafted Obelisk, freshly made, to bring to Centurion Kerus.

I took the Mysterious Stone from the Altamia Ridge to create this Obelisk. If it was the Aetheric Field Stone at Zumion, it'd be strong enough to ward off the curse of the Balaur, but....

Player: "Soar in the light."

You [%userclass]s are all the same! You never listen to me. One more time, and pay attention!

Here and the Altar of Avarice were both Balaur temples, built to seal a dragon that defied Dragon Lord Tiamat. Within these temples are keys which allow passage to the Beshmundir Temple.

Simultaneously activating the devices opens a door to the Silentera Canyon. So, clearly, to enter the Beshmundir Temple you must have both the Temple of Scales and the Altar of Avarice under control, yes?

Player: "My class doesn't share a brain. So sorry."

Do you think you can handle installing your Obelisk at the Hanarkand Protection Altar, or do you need me to do it?

Go to the Altar of Avarice when you are finished and tell Centurion Kerus to activate the device that opens Silentera Canyon.

Don't forget: Before you enter the Altar of Avarice, you should check that it's under our control.

Player: "Will do."

Welcome!

I see you've come from the Temple of Scales.

How is it over there? With the constant Balaur attacks, we don't get much chance to chat.

Player: "Thalia asks you to open the Silentera Canyon."

Irakas once said, "More haste, less speed."

Please install the Obelisk you brought at the Altar of Protection of Angrief first. Only then will I open the corridor.

Player: "But Thalia said.... All right."

Irakas once wrote, "Infiltration by a lone Daeva can be better than a full frontal assault by a hundred."

Did Centurion Thalia explain to you about Silentera Canyon? Once inside, a lone Daeva can choose between two exits. One leads to the Asmodian region Gelkmaros, and the other leads to Beshmundir Temple.

For successful infiltration, we must make sure to stay in Beshmundir's Walk, or else end up in Asmodian territory and a heap of trouble.

Player: "I've installed your Obelisk."

Good, good. When you get to the Beshmundir Temple, use Aether bombs to destroy the Power Wardstone and Sorcery Wardstone surrounding the Aetheric Field Generator.

I've already sent word to Yuditio about the bombs, so you need only go to Reshanta to pick them up.

Once you get rid of all the protection stones, detach the Generator Core from the Aetheric Field Generator. Destroy it at the Angrief Bulwark.

Player: "Thanks for the detailed instructions!"

You're right on time.

I only just completed the Aether bombs for Centurion Kerus. Knowing how small these are, I would guess you're not going to use them to smash a Balaur legion.

You blowing up some doors or something?

Player: "Or something."

Right, right. Confidential. I like that.

Be careful handling these. Just a tiny, tiny shock and they go BOOM!

Player: "Boom. Got it."

Living Balaur inside the temple? When we next meet the enemy, ready to conquer or die, will something unimagined erupt from Beshmundir?

You've done well, as always. Once the battleship is ready for take-off, we'll launch the Obelium and rain down fortifying Aether on the whole region, thanks to you.

Whether or not Tiamat discovers the powers of Siel's relics, his forces will fall to our Aion-blessed ones.
