Also, you said this happened because of a trap set up by Icaronix, one of your own men.

I dug around a bit after hearing this information, and found out some background info to add to your memories.

Player: "What, exactly?"

Haha, you seem impatient. It wasn't easy, you know. That legion of yours was incredibly secretive. It didn't help that you kept your name strictly secret either. Luckily, some of your men weren't as discreet as you were.

Your mission in Karamatis was to find the Artifact of Memory in order to uncover details of a past event.

It appears that you sent your legionnaries after the Artifact of Memory first and joined them later in order to find out something about the past. But as you know, the mission failed, and you lost your memory.

Player: "Artifact of Memory?"

Yes. It will help you regain all of your memory, and you will also be able to find out what you were trying to investigate.

The problem is that I have no clue where Karamatis is, or how to get there.

But I think I know someone who can help. Return to Poeta and talk to Pernos.

Player: "Thanks for filling me in."

I want to warn you that regaining your memory will not solve all your problems. In fact, it could open doors to more suffering. Do you still want to go down this path?

Player: "Absolutely."

If that's how it's going to be, then I suppose there's no turning back.

Karamatis is an Abyss Gate that opens very infrequently. It's what makes it so difficult to locate. But luckily, a Rift might open nearby soon.

This is your only chance. But if you're going to take that chance, there's something you need to do first.

Player: "What is it?"

Go to Theobomos and kill Deatheater Mabolo.

Kill Deatheater Mabolo, and his invisible essence will seep into you. I can draw that from you in order to create a Guardian's Essence. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to safely cross the Rift, or have protection against dangers that await you.

Now go. I will be waiting here.

So you've done it. The only thing left to do is to find the Artifact of Memory.

The way to Karamatis isn't going to be easy. But I suppose finding out what you were is worth the risk. Be strong, Daeva.

Yes, I need you to go to the Divine Fortress in Reshanta. If you leave now, you'll be able to find the Fissure of Destiny to Karamatis on the underbelly of the fortress.

I'll send you over so that you don't arrive too late. Once you're there, though, you're on your own.

It's hard to explain, but the artifact revealed a piece of your memory which it had stored. It's not everything, but at least you're safe.
