I know you Daevas think they're rather tame, but, Player, they're terrifying to us Humans! Particularly at night.

Just as Teos and I start to drift off to sleep, we're woken up by war cries from those shade-encrusted beasts!

Player: "That sounds awful."

It is awful! The patrols seem to enjoy fighting the beasts, and their meat helps keep us fed, but they scare me silly!

Then again, when you're a refugee, everything seems very frightening.

I know now that every day in my hometown was a blessing.
