Description:
Talk with Sueros. Talk with Honeus. Talk with Titus. Seize the Bloody Greatsword from Shura Steadfast and insert it into the Drakan Stone Statue to enter the Hidden Library. Activate the Hidden Switch to drop the hanging pulley. Defeat Zhanim the Librarian. Examine the Traveler's Bag. Read the Mysterious Research Diary. Report to Sueros. Order: Investigate the secret space beneath Undirborg.
Summary:
Centurion Sueros at the Undirborg Observation Post said there might be a secret space beneath Undirborg, and told you to investigate a Reian tribe member, Titus, who managed to escape from there.

When you asked a Reian Elder about the underground fortress, he told you to talk with Titus. Titus said you might not believe his story, but he insisted that he was taken by the Dragonbound to Udas Temple. While trying to escape, he accidentally entered the Hidden Library where he saw a giant weapon moving around. He told you how to get there.

Following Titus' instructions, you defeated Shura Steadfast, used a Drakan statue to enter the place Titus spoke of, confirmed the existence of the giant weapon, and obtained a research journal. When you reported back to Sueros, he marveled at your recklessness in going to Udas Temple without any support, and praised you for an unexpected but incredible accomplishment.

Full quest's text:
The Dragonbound cause a lot of headaches here at the Undirborg Observation Post. Undirborg is infested by zealots who worship the Balaur.

A rumor is also going around that a Dragon Lord temple is buried in there somewhere, but its existence has not yet been substantiated.

Furthermore, there is a Reian tribe member who was abducted by the Dragonbound, but managed to escape before he was brainwashed.

Player: "Go on..."

Our Guardians rescued the Reian near Undirborg, and he said he almost became a Dragonbound himself. According to his testimony, there is a secret space beneath Undirborg where he witnessed strange visions. Frankly, I find it hard to believe.

Could you go and check the validity of his claim, Player? Reian Tribe Elder Honeus took the tribe member with him, so go and see him first.

Honeus is relatively amicable to the Elyos, so he should answer your questions, to the best of his knowledge, without any trouble.

Player: "I like when there isn't trouble..."

I sense the grace of Ancient Atreians from you.

Seeing you reminds me of old times.

What brings an Elyos warrior to me?

Player: "I was wondering about the captured Reian..."

You wish to know about Titus? Or Udas Temple to which he was taken when he was abducted?

I welcome your visit, as I have been concerned about the Dragonbound. They're becoming more daring and aggressive. Not only do they have most of the temple under their control, they also have no qualms about abducting people in broad daylight.

And what Titus has seen in Udas Temple terrifies him so much, he still trembles when he talks about it.

Player: "That bad, huh?"

Titus said he has seen what your race calls "giant weapons" while he was there.

I still remember vividly... their limbs like great megaliths and the earth-shaking sounds their enormous bodies made as they battled the Balaur. They are all gone now, but they protected us when Tiamat cursed Inggison a long, long time ago.

I think perhaps Titus was hallucinating under the stress and terror of the situation he was in, but sometimes, he sounds like he's telling the truth. But it is he who was abducted, so talk with him if you have more questions.

Player: "I think I will..."

Did you come here alone? That's gutsy of you.

You walk around by yourself like that here and the Dragonbound will take you faster than you know it.

I'm not scaring you for no reason. I was taken myself. I thought I was done for when they took me to Udas Temple. My head was spinning. I thought I was going to be brainwashed into one of them!

Player: "But you made it back somehow?"

After I was captured, I was taken to a chamber in Udas Temple. The scoundrels suddenly started chanting, "Rudra, Rudra" with their arms raised high and began a strange ritual.

I ran like a madman while they were consumed with the ritual, but the inside of the temple was a maze and I quickly got lost. I entered a place that looked like a secret library and there were creatures I've never seen before milling about with a Soldier of Empyrean Lord in the center.

I have never seen such a strange spectacle in my whole life. You'll probably say I was hallucinating like the rest of them tell me, but I know what I saw.

Player: "I might be more open minded than the rest."

I somehow found my way out of the temple, but I was in such a daze that I don't remember how I entered the library in the first place. Come to think of it, I think the door opened when I pulled out a sword that was stuck on a Drakan Stone Statue. Maybe that was the key...

That's all I remember. If you are set on knowing more, go to Undirborg and look for it yourself. I lost that sword to Shura Steadfast, though... I wonder if she still has it.

Oh, and I just remembered that there was something strange in that room. Everything in there was very old, but a relatively new traveler's bag was sitting in a corner. Go and see for yourself. You can return and confirm that I've been telling the truth!

Player: "I'll do that."

(It is a big stone statue that shows a Drakan warrior in fine detail.)

(Looking at it closely, it seems as if it was holding something in its hand.)

(This seems to be the statue Titus said leads to the Hidden Library.)

Player: "A slot that would fit a sword, perhaps?"

(It is a bag used commonly by travellers.)

(There is a thick book inside the bag.)

(It seems to be a record of research regarding Udas Temple and should be studied thoroughly.)

Player: "I'll be taking this with me, thank you."

My word, I only asked you to investigate what he was talking about! You went to Udas Temple without any support? That was reckless!

I still have many things to do, but I can't just sit idle when something like that has been discovered inside the temple. It is simply incredible that everything he said was true.

I should send men to investigate immediately, but we're just too tied-up with the preparations for our advance into Balaurea. Here, take this for now. You've made an incredible discovery and more than deserve this reward.
