I don't know why my foolish husband won't eat.

He hunts all about the Tolbas Forest, but gets so involved with his work he ends up skipping meals. He's gotten so thin!

I keep telling him he has to eat, that he won't have energy to hunt if he doesn't, but he just waves me away with his bony hand.

Player: "That's a shame."

I need to find a way to get him to eat. I need to bring him something that he can't refuse.

After doing some research, I finally found a solution.

Odella. It's the best thing for recovering your health, and he really needs it now.

Player: "How will you get it?"

Oh, I've already got some. I had to deal with the Shugo trader in the citadel, but it was worth it. Now I just need someone who can cook the stuff.

The village cook boasted about a delicious dish he prepared with Odella. He said there was a trick to releasing its flavor.

Daeva, will you help me? I have to help my husband.

Player: Accept.

Eradis the food merchant is the best cook in the village and knows how to cook Odella.

Take the Odella I bought to him and ask him to create something delicious.

Careful, don't drop any!

Player: "I'll do what I can."

Nemia heard I could cook Odella, did she? And this moldy looking substance is Odella?

Look, I'll be honest...I may have exaggerated. I have no idea how to cook this stuff.

Leave it with me, though. I am the best cook around--I'm sure I'll be able to turn this into something edible. It probably won't be the sumptuous meal Nemia expected, though.

Player: "Well, do what you can."

Let's see, Odella could be perfect for...soup! But that smell just won't do. No one would eat it like this. Might keep the Kobolds away, though.

I'll need something strong enough to mask the smell. Of course! Verteron Pepper. That'll mask anything! Just have to make sure I don't overdo it.

Now, I must get all my equipment ready. Speaking of which, would you buy me the Verteron Pepper?

Player: "Oh. Er, sure."

Dum-dee-dee-da-deeeeh! Oh, excuse me. Did you get the Verteron Pepper?

It's so much fun, cooking with new ingredients! And I've heard so much about Odella. If this goes well, perhaps I'll use it in all my dishes.

Player: "Well, here it is."

You're the one who wanted me to cook this meal, Player. Now you turn up empty-handed?

You'll be lucky to find anyone else who can cook around here. Some of the villagers wouldn't know a knife from a spoon.

Looks like this Odella will just have to go back to Nemia....

Player: "I'll be right back."

Ah, the Verteron Pepper! Well done, Daeva.

A dash of this, a pinch of that...yes, I'm almost certain it won't be completely disgusting.
