You promised to bring him a Dado Curry if he promised not to eat you. You fed him the Dado Curry instead of becoming a crunchy Ettin snack. Full quest's text: Show/Hide I'm hungry! Player: "Oh, please don't eat me!" I won't eat you, ho ho ho, little crunchy Human. But only if you bring me food to satisfy my rumbling belly! The next best thing to Human meat is Dado Curry! Player: "If I get you a curry, you won't eat me?" No! Yes! But hurry, my belly is growling! I need food! Player: Accept. You hurry! Or I track you down and I swallow you up! Ho ho ho! Player: "I'll hurry, just don't eat me!" You bring food? Or you are food? Player: "Here." This is not food! Not food for me! You hurry, or you become food for me! Player: "Give me another chance!"
